Magnetic poles combining innovation and performance

The magnetic platens use independent circular magnetic modules, designed to limit the penetration of the magnetic flux into the mould. It is possible to clamp moulds with thin blackplates (min. 13 mm), without interference between the mould’s moving parts, and/or its sensor.

Thanks to the significant number of poles around the center of the plate, the magnetic forces are concentrated:

• use of a wide range of mould sizes
• no mould deformation during opening.

IMAG system requires only electrical power for clamping/unclamping operation:

The mould is held onto the machine platen by the strength of the permanent magnet and therefore will not be affected by a power loss of the machine.
